Which route do you need?

Most enquiries arrive using whichever term the buyer happens to know. The differences that matter are what you bring, who owns the recipe and how much you have to commit to.

Questions

Frequently asked

In practice the terms are used interchangeably. We separate them by recipe ownership: own label means your brand on one of our existing recipes, which is faster and starts at six pallets. Private label means your recipe, made to your specification, also starting at six pallets.
Sometimes, and it depends on the product. We run hot-fill and cold-fill lines for sauces, emulsions and oils, so filling that suits those lines and our allergen controls is workable. Bring us the product and the format and we will tell you honestly whether it fits — we would rather decline early than take a job our plant is wrong for.
Six pallets of a standard recipe under your own label. That is the cheapest way to test a product in market before committing to a bespoke formulation.
Recipes you bring remain yours. Recipes we develop for you are covered by a written development agreement, agreed before any work starts.
Yes. BRCGS Grade AA, RSPO Segregated, Sedex members and Kosher certified through the Manchester Beth Din — the certification set most retail technical teams require.
